Safety and quality: Trust

VS.

NEARLY ZERO-ENERGY OR PASSIVHAUS CERTIFICATION

If we compare the quality of the envelope of a Passivhaus-certified building with the limits for a nearly zero-energy building, we can see that:

The thermal envelope:
  • Passivhaus-certified WINDOWS have 50% less thermal transmittance.
  • ROOFS need to have 40% less transmittance.
  • FACADES transmit 50% less energy than those of a building that strictly complies with the Nearly Zero-Energy requirement.
Thermal bridges:
  • CALCULATION: Precise measurements and calculations according to ISO 10211 are required to back the work carried out.
  • ON-SITE CONTROL: Mandatory on-site control in person, as well as technical and photographic justification of calculations must be presented to the Passivhaus Institute.
  • HOURS OF WORK:
+60 different types of thermal bridges in each building.
+ 100 hours of work by specialised personnel.
Air tightness:
  • To guarantee the effectiveness of a building’s tightness treatment, the PASSIVHAUS standard requires the Blower door test to show that the air infiltration rate is only 0.6 changes/hour.

Ventilation:
  • Ventilation of Passivhaus homes is by a system of continuous ventilation with HEAT RECOVERY. The system must pass the required on-site energy BALANCE test.

New Horizons

We are committed to striving for a more sustainable, healthier future in which our customers will continue to enjoy high-quality homes with enhanced designs that are always in line with sustainability criteria. We are on the constant lookout for ways of improving customer service and one such initiative is our plan to open new branch offices in Spain.

Along the same lines, we continue working with other operators to help achieve our goals faster. The past two years have been very important in terms of consolidating new operations.

We are advancing in the industrialisation and digitalisation of building processes, using our own technological tools, and we promote even more efficient construction systems to achieve zero emission buildings.
